1. The limited prayer which the Petitioner has sought in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent No.4 to decide his representation dated 24.01.2018 which he has made to respondent No.4 against the dispute pertaining to the leave encashment applicable to the petitioner.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that in his credit according to him, there is a leave credit of 210 days, however, as per the respondent, leave in his credit is only 28.33 days. He further submits that he has made a detailed representation to the respondent No.4 showing that there are sufficient leave in his credit and he is entitled for further

encashment of 182 days which is after deducting 28.33 days earned leave for which payment has already been granted, with 18% interest.

3. In view of fact that the petitioner's representation is still pending, this court is of the opinion that let the respondent No.4 personally get the service records of the petitioner verified particularly in respect of his leave account so as to determine what would be the number of days which he would be entitled for encashment.

4. Let the respondent No.4 take a decision on the petitioner's representation dated 24.01.2018 (Annexure P/5) within a period of 90 days from today and the petitioner be suitably intimated in this regard.

5. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands finally disposed of.
