The petitioner has filed this petition aggrieved by transfer order dated 26.10.2016 mainly on the ground that his personal difficulties that his transfer, at this stage, may adversely affect his family circumstances son is studying in 12th standard.

In the petition, the distance of the present place of posting wherefrom he is now being transferred which is about 200 km away. I also found that there is a memo sent by Mandi to the Managing Director for cancellation of transfer.

Considering the aforesaid circumstances, particularly that the petitioner has already preferred representation, at this stage, it would be appropriate to dispose off the matter with the direction to respondent No.2 to consider petitioner's grievance and take a decision within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner shall submit a copy of this order before the respondent No.2 within a period of ten days from today. For a period of three weeks, if the petitioner has not been relieved, coercive steps shall not be taken against the petitioner. The protection would be available only when representation is submitted in ten days from today.
