1. This is an application filed under section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant in connection with Crime No. 397/2014 registered at Police station Pandri, Distt. Raipur, Chhattisgarh for the offences punishable under sections 420, 467, 468, 471/34 of IPC.

2. As per the prosecution case, the applicant in order to provide job in Railways has obtained Rs.3,50,000/- from the complainant with further understanding that the remaining amount of Rs.1,50,000/- to be paid when the appointment letter is issued. Subsequently, when the job was not provided a report was made and the forged appointment letter of Railways was recovered from the possession of the applicant.

3. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been falsely been implicated and prays for releasing him on bail.

4. Per contra, learned State Counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail.

5. Having regard to the facts of the case and the way in which the

amount was obtained on the pretext of providing job in Indian Railways, I am not inclined to allow this application. Accordingly, it is rejected.
