1. The limited relief which the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents to consider his request for transfer to a place nearby Dhamtari where his wife is posted.
2. According to the petitioner he is a disabled person with 45% of disability and that he has been given appointment and posted at District Balrampur which is 350/400 k.m. away from where the spouse of the petitioner is working i.e. District Dhamtari. According to the petitioner he had moved repeated applications to the concerned authority for trying to accommodate the petitioner at District Dhamtari where the petitioner would live a normal family life and where his wife and children are staying. Counsel for the petitioner
further submits that there are also vacancies at the said place and respondents would not have any administrative inconvenience in sending the petitioner to the said place.
3. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, the present writ petition stands disposed off with direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner seeking transfer to Dhamtari or nearby place.
4. It is expected that respondent authority would sympathetically consider the claim of the petitioner considering his physical disability and pass an appropriate order within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
