Agrawal Order On Board 16/11/2015 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has applied for compassionate appointment on 28.05.2014 as her husband died in harness but till this date her application has not been considered & decided and, therefore, a direction may be issued to respondents No. 2 & 3 to consider and take decision on the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment.

(2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.

(3) Accordingly, the respondents No. 2 & 3 are directed to consider and take decision on the petitioner's application for compassionate

appointment expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the day of receipt of copy of this order. (4) It is made clear that neither this Court has expressed any opinion on the merit of the case nor has given any direction to appoint the petitioner on the said post.

(5) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
