The petitioner has filed this petition seeking a direction to respondents to consider her representation for transfer to Durg district where her husband is posted and working as Assistant Teacher Panchayat in Panchayat school.

It is submitted that according to the existing policy, as far as possible, subject to exigency of service, posting of wife is to be kept at the place of posting of the husband or at nearby station.

It appears that the petitioner has preferred representation in the month of April, 2016, but the representation has not been decided till date, therefore, in these circumstances, it is directed that whenever the respondents again proceed to make transfer in the next transfer season of 2017, the representation of the petitioner shall also be kept into consideration exploring the possibility of exigency whether subject to administrative exigency, the petitioner could be shifted in Durg.
