1. Ignoring the default pointed out by the Registry, with the consent of the parties the matter is heard finally and disposed off at the motion stage itself.

2. The claim raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for grant of seniority and regular pay scale from the date of his initial appointment in the light of the decision of this Court in the case of Gokaran Singh Vs. State of Chhattisgarh and others passed in WPS No. 6710/2014 dated 24.12.2014.

3. Let respondents 1 & 2 take a decision in this regard on due verification of facts as to whether the petitioner is similarly placed as that of

Gokaran Singh (supra) and thereafter take an appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioner. Let this exercise be completed within a period of 60 days from the date of presentation of the order passed by this Court.
