2. By order dated 12.1.2021 passed in WA No.270/2020, the Court reserved liberty in favour of the petitioner/appellant to file

CONT No. 368 of 2021 representation before the competent authority raising all his grievances with regard to non-grant of promotion or pay fixation with further direction to the competent authority to decide the same within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of the representation.

3. Although there is some delay but the representation has already been decided by the competent authority (respondent No.1) on 5.4.2021-Annexure R/1.

4. In view of the above, nothing survives in this contempt petition to proceed further in this matter.

5. The rule issued against the respondents is discharged. The petitioner, if so desires, may prefer a fresh petition to challenge the order-Annexure R/1.

6. The contempt petition is disposed of.
