1. Tractor and trolley owned by the petitioner was subjected to seizure by the competent authority found transporting stones / gitti in violation of Rule 53 of the Chhattisgarh Minor Mineral Rules, 1996. This Court has granted interim custody of the vehicle by its order dated 23-72008 which is operating. Parties are not in a position to inform about the final proceeding drawn by the competent authority. However, it is made clear that the order of interim custody granted by this Court shall be subject to the final outcome of any final order passed by the competent authority under the Rules of 1996, if not already passed.

2. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
