1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the Chief Engineer of Water Resources Department, Chhattisgarh, Raipur has made a request to the State Government on 9.5.2014 (Annexure R/1) for relaxation of rule or proceeding under Rule 4(3) of the Chhattisgarh Ke Bhutpurva Sainik (Rajya Ki Civil Sevaon Tatha Padon, Tritiya Shreni Avam Chaturth Shreni Men Riktiyon Ka Arakshan) Niyam, 1985, that has not been considered and decided by

the State Government.

2. Learned Deputy Government Advocate appearing for respondents No.1 to 4 would submit that decision will be taken expeditiously.

3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties.

4. The respondents have filed the document dated 9.5.2014 (Annexure R/1) along with their return by which request has been made to the State Government. Therefore, the State Government is directed to take a decision within four months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order along with representation. The petitioner is at liberty to make additional representation, if any.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed off. No cost(s).
