Versus

1. State Of Chhattisgarh Through The Secretary, Panchayat And Rural Development, Department, Mahanadi Bhawan, Mantralaya, New Raipur Chhattisgarh.

Shri Goutam Khetrapal, Advocate.

For Respondent-State :

Shri Saleem Kazi,Dy. Advocate General.

Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 12.04.2019 1.

The grievance of the petitioner in this petition is that the petitioner has made a representation against the grading that has been given to the petitioner in the ACR for the year 2015-16 and 2016-17 and the respondent No.2 till date has not taken any decision on the representation.

2.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with rules and regulations governing the fields at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of representation. The petitioner would be at liberty to make a fresh representation, if so desire. 3.

It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case. The respondent would be at liberty to take a decision purely on the basis of the merits and the contents of the representation.
