Hon'ble Shri Justice Sanjay K. Agrawal Order On Board 19/01/2018 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's candidature has been rejected on the ground that she belongs OBC category of the other State, therefore, she is not entitled for selection in the State of Chhattisgarh for which she may be allowed to make representation before the Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat Balrampur-Ramanujganj for redressal of her grievances.
(2) Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.
(3) Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation before the Chief Executive Officer, Jila Panchayat, Balrampur-Ramanujganj within seven days from today and, in turn, the said authority shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation by speaking and reasoned order within a further period of ten days from the date of filing of the representation. (4) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the said authority would be at liberty to decide the representation in accordance with law. (5) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
