Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner has made a representation before the Collector, Bilaspur on 14.03.2018 for grant of compensation in lieu of his land taken for construction of National Highway but that has not been considered and decided by the respondent authorities till date and, therefore, direction may be issued to the respondent authorities decide the same expeditiously. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed.

Be that as it may, the Collector, Bilaspur is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 14.03.2018 expeditiously preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
