At the outset, it is stated before the Court that the petitioner has filed a mercy petition seeking recall of the dismissal order upon his acquittal which has remained pending for the last one year.

Learned counsel for the respondents, on advance, copy would submit that the respondents may be granted three months time to decide the petitioner's petition. 3.

Considering that the petitioner's petition has remained pending for the last one year, it would be just and proper that decision is taken within a period of 60 days. At this stage, the petition is disposed off without commenting upon the merits of the case only for decision on petitioner's petition.
