The substantive post of the appellant is Ranger. Vide order dated 22.11.2016 under local arrangement, office of the appellant was changed and he was directed to look after the work of Ranger, Manendragarh Forest Division (Production).
This order has been challenged by the appellant in WP(S) No.6603 of 2016.

Vide impugned order, learned Single Judge has dismissed the writ petition holding that the order impugned cannot be termed as transfer and it is merely a shifting of officer from one place to another. Even headquarter of the appellant has not been changed.

Under these circumstances, we find no substance in the writ appeal. Same is dismissed accordingly.
