By means of this petition, the petitioner has prayed for grant of two advance increments on account of passing B.T.I. examination at her own cost in the year 1992 i.e. before joining the service. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue involved in this case has already been decided in catena of decisions rendered by this Court whereby the State Government was directed to consider and decide the claim of the similarly situated persons. One of such order was passed in WP(S) No. 2687/2010 decided on 16.06.2010 which is enclosed as Annexure P-5 with the present petition. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the State Govt. has issued circular dated 05.01.2011 which is enclosed as Annexure P-1

with the petition, whereby it is made clear that the said benefit shall also be given to the persons having B.T.I. qualification. 3.

In view of the above, the present petition is finally disposed of with a direction that the case of the petitioner for grant of two advance increments shall be considered by the respondent authorities as per circular dated 05.01.2011 and also as per the order passed by this Court in WPS No. 2687/2010 decided on 16.10.2010.
