1. The present Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the Respondents for considering the case of the Petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment.

2. The contention of the Petitioner is that the father of the Petitioner was working with the Respondent as Deputy Ranger with the Respondents and had died in harness on 09.03.2015. After death of his father the present Petitioner had preferred an application for grant of compassionate appointment on 07.12.2016. The said application has not been acted upon and is still pending consideration before the Respondents.

3. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner prays that a direction may be issued to the Respondents to take an early decision on the application so that the Petitioner is able to get the employment to sustain himself and other dependents of the deceased employee.

4. He further submits that so far as the other family members are considered he has obtained No Objection from them for grant of employment to the present Petitioner. As such there is no hurdle on part of the Respondents to take decision in respect of the Petitioner.

5. Learned State Counsel at this juncture submits that appropriate direction may be issued to Respondent No.2 to take an appropriate decision on the claim application put forth by the present Petitioner seeking for compassionate appointment.

6. In the light of the submissions made by the counsel for the parties, the present Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to the Respondent No.2 to take a decision in the case of the Petitoiner regarding grant of compassionate appointment within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

7. It would be the responsibility of the present Petitioner to serve a copy the certified copy of the present order before Respondent No.2.

8. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case as to whether the Petitioner is entitled for the claim he has made. The Respondent No.2 is at liberty to take decision purely in accordance with the rules and guidelines governing the field.

9. With the aforesaid observation the present Writ Petition stands disposed off.
