The claim of the petitioner in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent No.2 to initiate steps for recruitment on the post of Sweeper under the respondent No.2.

The contention of the petitioner is that the mother of the petitioner was working as a Sweeper (Safaikarmi) with the respondent No.2. The mother of the petitioner stood retired from service on superannuation in the year 2010. 3.
According to the petitioner, there are large number of vacancies available in the Department on the posts of Sweepers, but the respondent No.2 is not taking steps for filling up of the said post. 4.
It is further contended by the petitioner that in the event if the respondents initiate the recruitment process then the petitioner would be entitled for benefit under Section 8A of the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation
-2- (Appointment and Conditions of service of officers and servants) Rules, 2000.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has raised, let the petitioner make a detailed representation in this regard to the respondent No.2 within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and the respondent No.2 in turn shall decide the representation of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of the representation.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
