1. Heard on admission.

2. This Petition has been filed for initiation of contempt proceeding for non-compliance of the order dated 20.11.2013 passed in W.P.S. No.3748 of 2013.

3. According to the said order following observation has been made:- "Accordingly, the petition is disposed of with the above stated liberty. However, if the petitioners file such representation before the respondent No.2 within a period of 15 days from today, it is expected of the respondent No.2 to decide the same expeditiously as early as possible preferably within a period of 10 weeks from the date of receipt of such representation."

From perusal of the aforesaid observations, it is evident that while disposing of the said petition, a direction was issued to the petitioners to file the representation before Respondent No.2 within a period of 15 days from the passing of the said order i.e., 20.11.2013. However, it appears that the representation was made beyond the said period of 15 days as it was submitted on 17.12.2013. That apart, the contempt petition has been filed on 07.04.2021, i.e., after passing of more than 7 and half years after the completion period of 10 weeks as mentioned therein. In view thereof, I am not inclined to entertain this petition.

5. The contempt petition is accordingly dismissed at admission stage.

No order as to costs.
