1. Heard.

2. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that at present the Petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to the Respondents to consider the representation made by the Petitioner for grant of seniority on the post of Deputy Commissioner since year 2006.

3. In view of the above the Writ Petition stands disposed off with a direction to the Respondents to consider the Petitioner's claim for grant of seniority from year 2006 on the post of Deputy Commissioner as early as possible preferably within a period of 3

months from today.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.

5. In case if the Respondents fail to decide the Petitioner's representation, the Petitioner would be at liberty to revive the Petition.
