1. WPS No.5773/2007 (Smt. Shardha Tiwari & ors. Vs. State Govt. of Chhattisgarh & anr.) (petitioner herein was petitioner No.8 in the writ petition) was disposed of by this Court on 25.09.2007.
2. Under section 20 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 (for short 'the Act, 1971') the limitation for filing the contempt petition is one year from the date on which the contempt is alleged to have been committed.
3. In furtherance of the order of this Court, the petitioner submitted a representation on 4-12-07 but the present contempt petition has been filed on 10-2-16. Thus, the contempt petition is filed after a period of about 8 years from the date of accrual of cause of action.
