1. Though in this case notices were directed to be issued and learned counsel for the State prays for time to file return, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that at present, the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is issued to consider petitioner's representation for compassionate appointment.
2. Therefore, in these circumstances, without commenting upon merits of the case, this petition is finally disposed off with a direction to respondent No.4 to take decision on petitioner's representation for compassionate appointment.

Considering that the Executive Engineer has sought guidelines from the Superintending Engineer, it is observed that if the Superintending Engineer does not provide any guidelines within a period of 4 weeks, from the date of receipt of copy of this order, the Executive Engineer shall proceed to decide the matter without awaiting any guidelines within a further period of 60 days.
