Heard counsel for the parties.

An order dated 25.07.2018 was passed by the Court to list these matters after two weeks and counsel for the Bilaspur University was also directed to seek instructions and file its return as to what was possible now to facilitate holding of examination of the courses in which the students had been granted admission by the College in question. 3.

Without going into the controversy and the circumstances which created the predicament in which the students are, the University has informed the Court through its return that the College in question now stands deaffiliated for the academic session 2018-2019, but taking a magnanimous view and to ensure that the career and future of the students who number 118, who were not registered with the University will now be permitted to be admitted for the purposes of examination for the session 2018-2019 and they will be allowed to participate in the examination which will be held for the regular students of the session 2018-2019, provided they are registered with the University, pay requisite examination fee etc.

The stand of the University is appreciated. Let the said 118 students who have missed out on registration and participation in the examination earlier do the needful now for which the requisite date and time will be publicly announced by the University on the official website of the University. All these students, therefore, must keep be on a watch so as to avail the window of opportunity which has come their way. 5.
