Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that against the order dated 18.03.2020 (Annexure P-13), whereby the compulsory retirement order was made, an appeal has been preferred under Rule 24 of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966 (for short 'the Rules, 1966') on 29.05.2020. The limited prayer is made since the appeal has been

preferred, the same may be directed to be decided within a stipulated period of time.

3. Considering the fair submission made that the appeal has already been preferred under Rule 24 of the Rules, 1966 on 29.05.2020 before the Secretary, department of Agriculture, it is directed that the Secretary/appellate authority shall decide the same within a further period of 6 months.
