The Petitioner through the present Writ Petition has primarily sought for a relief of either grant of compensation or in the alternative, providing land for his livelihood for the land which has been taking over by the Respondents in the course of construction of a police station. 2.
Learned Counsel for the State has now come up with a stand that the grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed to the extent of he being allotted separate alternative land in Khasra No.62/1 ([k) measuring 10/10 mtrs i.e. 2 1⁄2 decimals of land, which is not disputed by Learned Counsel for the Petitioner.

In the light of the response of the State Counsel of providing alternative land to the petitioner, nothing further survives to be adjudicated in the present Writ Petition.
