1. Challenge in this petition is to the order dated 14.06.2017 whereby the petitioner has been transferred from Durg to Naya Raipur.
2. This court is not inclined to entertain this petition only on the ground that the new place of posting of the petitioner is not far away from the earlier place of posting. The petitioner has been transferred from District Treasury, Durg to the office of Directorate, Treasury, Accounts and Pension, Naya Raipur. The distance between the two places of posting is not much. Even otherwise, the petitioner has already remained for about one year and five months at Durg and as per transfer policy of the State, transfer of any employee can be made who has continuously worked for a period of more than 12 months at a particular place.
3. For the reasons mentioned hereinabove, the petition being devoid of merit is liable to be and is hereby dismissed. However, if the petitioner is aggrieved by the action of the respondents, he may seek redressal of his grievance by making a suitable representation before the competent authority. Sd/- (P.
