(1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment has not been decided since long by respondents
No. 2 & 3 and, therefore, the same may be directed to be decided within the specific frame.
(2) Prayer appears to be fair & reasonable.
(3) Be that as it may, respondents No. 2 & 3 are directed to take decision on the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
(4) With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.
(5) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned is free to decide the petitioner's application for compassionate appointment in accordance with law.
