1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the default has been removed.

2. The only prayer made in this petition is to direct the respondents to decide statutory appeal against the penalty order which has remained pending since November, 2016.

3. Without commenting upon the merits of the case, at this stage, when the appeal of the petitioner has remained pending, I am inclined to dispose off the matter with a direction to the Appellate Authority to decide the petitioner's appeal as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. The petition is accordingly disposed off.
