Grievance of the petitioner is that father of the petitioner, who was serving under the respondent, was died in harness on 16-03-2017. Subsequently, the petitioner has moved an application for seeking compassionate appointment on 21-03-2017 along with a letter of no objection of rest of the family members. The petitioner has also sent reminder to the respondent No.3 on 27-03-2017 raising his grievance, but till date, the respondents have not passed any order either allowing the application or rejecting the claim of the petitioner. This has forced the petitioner to file the present writ petition. 3.
Learned counsel for the respondents/State submits that the present writ petition
may be disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3, who in turn, may take a decision on the claim of the petitioner at the earliest. 4.
In view of the statement made by learned State counsel, the present writ petition is finally disposed off with a direction to respondent No.3 to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment and take appropriate decision thereon within a period of three months from today.
