1. The grievance of the petitioner seems to be continuation of the disciplinary proceedings inspite of enquiry officer having submitted the enquiry report.
2. Perusal of documents attached with the writ petition would show that the enquiry officer has submitted his enquiry report on 29.01.2020. The enquiry report has subsequently been placed before the District Collectorcum-District Election Officer and the District Collector has vide his notesheet dated 09.07.2020 ordered for placing the file along with records of the inquiry proceedings.
3. According to the petitioner, though almost an one year has passed, no decision till date has been taken by the respondents and therefore appropriate direction be issued.
4. Given the entire facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the District Collector to take an
-2appropriate decision in the case of the petitioner so far as enquiry that was conducted against the petitioner in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
