1. The limited prayer made by the petitioner in this petition is for issuance of a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide his representation which is pending before him since long.
2. Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that the issue involved in the present case is in respect of grant of proper seniority as junior to the petitioner have already been given seniority over and above the petitioner.
3. Considering the factual matrix of the case, this court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending any further, and therefore, ends of justice would meet if this petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.2 to decide the pending representation of the petitioner at the earliest
preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
4. It is ordered accordingly.
5. It is made clear that this court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent concerned shall decide the representation and entitlement of seniority of the petitioner purely in accordance with rules applicable in the field. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge inder
