1. The petitioner has filed this writ petition primarily on the ground that though the petitioner retired from service w.e.f. 31.01.2019, the retiral
dues payable to the petitioner has not been promptly processed and no retiral dues have been paid to the petitioner including pension. Further claim of the petitioner is that while the petitioner was in service, he had become entitled for 4th scale senior selection grade but the benefit of the same also has in fact not been released to the petitioner.
2. Given the nature of dispute and also considering the fact that the petitioner has already retired from service, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if respondents 2 & 3 are directed to ensure that necessary formalities for releasing the retiral dues payable to the petitioner be completed at the earliest and the entire retiral dues including pension gratuity etc. are settled at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
