Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the Controlling Authority, Rajnandgaon has passed an order dated 25.01.2016 directing respondent No. 1 for payment of gratuity along with interest to the petitioner but till date no recovery certificate has been issued against respondent No. 1 though application has been made by the petitioner under Section 8 of the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 on 01.08.2016. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the Controlling Authority, Rajnandgaon is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 01.08.2016 expeditiously preferably within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
