1. The limited relief that the petitioners in the present writ petition has prayed for is for an appropriate direction to the respondent no. 3Collector, Dist. Janjgir Champa for taking an appropriate decision on the representation that the petitioners have made in the light of an order passed by the Revenue Department on 27.05.2006.

2. The limited relief that the petitioners has sought for is not opposed by the State Counsel, except the fact that let the collector take a decision on its own merits without being any manner influenced by the order of this Court.

3. Given the said facts, the writ petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the respondent No. 3- District Collector, Janjgir Champa to take a decision on the representation Annexure P/7 which the petitioners had filed way back in the year 2012 and which is said to

be still pending. Let a decision be taken in this regard at the earliest preferably within a period of three months. The petitioners are also directed to provide all necessary documents/records available with them to the respondent no. 3 for taking an appropriate early decision.
