The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 173/2015 registered in Police Station Chowki-Giroudpuri, P.S. Gidhouri for offence punishable under section 186, 332, 353, 294, 225/34 of IPC.

As per the prosecution case applicant along with other co-accused persons were taking away the teak wooden log from Mahkoni forest range. At that time one forest Ranger Bhuneshwar Prasad having intercepted, he was assaulted and was beaten brutally. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that he has been falsely implicated in this case and no offence has been committed by him. He further submits that because of the previous animosity applicant has been inculpated. He therefore submits that applicant may be released on bail. 4.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail and submits that offence is still under investigation. 5.

Taking into account the allegation made and further taking into

consideration the way the offence is committed and the matter is still under investigation, this court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. Certified copy as per rules.
