Grievance of the petitioner as ventilated through this petition is that even though, the petitioner has filed departmental appeal against the order of imposition of penalty, the said appeal has not been decided till date. 3.

Learned counsel for respondents submits that the authority shall make all efforts to decide the appeal as early as possible. 4.

In view of the aforesaid submission, the respondents are directed to

decide the appeal of the petitioner as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, subject to the condition that no appeal, filed prior to the instant appeal, is pending with respondents.
