1. This writ petition has been filed by four widows whose husband's were working under the respondent No. 3 and who died in harness serving as Contingency Paid employees.
2. The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that husband of all four petitioner's in fact had put in around about 10 years or more of service and according to the contingency rules and they would had been entitled for the benefit of pension. It was further contention of the petitioners that the State Government now has recently issued certain circulars where they have decided to even count the service rendered as a daily wage employee for the purpose of grant of pension.
3. Given the aforesaid factual matrix of the case, let petitioners make a suitable representation in this regard to the respondent No. 2 & 3 within a period of four weeks from today and respondent No. 2 & 3 in turn shall consider the contents of the case and decide the claim of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of representation to be made by the petitioners in accordance with the rules and regulations and the circulars issued by the State Government from time to time.
