Grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was initially appointed as Part time Sweeper in the Veterinary Department prior to 1999, but pay scale of Rs.2550-3200/- was granted to the petitioner in the year 2009. Similarly situated employees, who were aggrieved by the anomaly, have filed Writ Petition No.3510/2010, that petition was disposed off by this Court vide order dated 21.07.2010 for consideration of their representation and those similarly situated employees have been granted higher pay scale from earlier date vide order dated 06.01.2012. The petitioner also preferred a representation that he should
also be granted the same benefit as he happens to be similarly situated employee, but till date no orders have been passed. Therefore, the petitioner has approached this Court.

Learned Additional Advocate General for the State submits that the petitioner's claim of parity shall be examined by the respondent-competent authority and the decision shall be taken within a period of eight weeks. 4.
In view of the submission made above, at this stage, this petition is finally disposed off with a direction to the respondent No.3 to decide the petitioner's claim of parity of pay scale within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
