1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order Annexure (P1) dated 18/09/2018 whereby the petitioner has been inflicted with a minor stoppage of two annual increments without cumulative effect.

2. At the outset, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition would not be maintainable for the reason that the impugned order is an appealable order and the petitioner has not preferred any appeal, now after a period of six months, he has filed the present writ petition.

3. Reserving the right of the petitioner to prefer an appeal before the appellate authority and if the same is filed within a period of 30 days from today, the appellate authority is directed to decide the same

within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the appeal of the petitioner.
