At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he has preferred representation against transfer upon promotion. He submits that at this stage, the petitioner would be satisfied, if the present petition would be finally disposed off with a direction to respondents to consider the representation. 3.

Without commenting upon the merits of the case, at the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, this petition is finally disposed off with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner. However, it is made clear that the pendency of representation shall not be treated as stay of petitioner's transfer upon promotion.
