The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is that, the petitioner's father had died in harness on 17/03/2015 and thereafter the petitioner had moved an application for grant of compassionate appointment which has till date not been decided by the respondents. 2.

The limited prayer made by the counsel for the petitioner is for issuance of direction to the respondents No. 1 & 2 to consider the case of the petitioner and to decide the same at the earliest. 3.

The said prayer is not opposed by the State counsel.

Accordingly, the present Writ Petition stands disposed off with a direction to the respondents No. 1 & 2 to ensure that the claim application for compassionate appointment moved by the petitioner pending in their department shall be considered and decide at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from today.
