1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that a paddy purchase centre was established within the area of Gram Panchayat, Gare, Janpad Panchayat, Tamnar, district Raigarh for the last about 40 years, however, for the present paddy procurement season the said centre has been shifted

to village Saraitola. He would submit that the members residing in the petitioner's Gram Panchayat locality will have to incur huge expenditure for taking their paddy for sale to Saraitola, which is placed at a distance of about 10 Km. He would further submit that there is absolutely no justifiable reason for closing purchase centre at Gram Panchayat, Gare.

2. Learned counsel would submit that the petitioner has preferred a representation before the Collector, Raigarh, however, the same has not yet been considered and in the meanwhile the villagers are facing difficulty.

3. Considering the nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, instead of keeping this writ petition pending, it is disposed of with direction to the Collector, Raigarh to decide petitioner's representation at the earliest, preferably within a period of 15 days from today. The petitioner shall submit copy of this order along with the fresh representation before the said Collector within a period of one week from today.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
