The petitioner has filed this petition seeking issuance of direction to the respondents to consider petitioner's posting at Raipur on the submission that the petitioner's daughter is physically challenged and in the department there is a policy promulgated by Government of India for consideration of posting of Government employees, who have physically challenged dependents. 2.

The petitioner is a member of Armed Force. He has been posted at Bhilai. For certain personal reasons, the petitioner is seeking posting of his choice. This direction cannot be issued by this Court. It is for the competent authority to consider

petitioner's representation and take appropriate decision. Therefore, in these circumstances, it would be appropriate to dispose off the matter with the liberty to the petitioner to prefer representation before the competent authority and the competent authority may take a decision on petitioner's representation within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order. It will be open for the petitioner to bring to the notice of the competent authority any other policy/circular which is in favour of the petitioner. 3.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed off.
