1. It appears, petitioner's application for demarcation of land is pending consideration before the Tehsildar, Bilaspur. The said issue was earlier decided on 31-7-2013, however, in a revision application preferred by the petitioner before the Additional Collector, Bilaspur, the matter has been remitted back to the Tehsildar on 24-3-2015. Thereafter, the Tehsildar has constituted a team of Revenue Inspectors and Patwaris and sought a demarcation report, however, the same has not yet been submitted before the Tehsildar.
2. Considering the entire facts situation of the case, it is directed that the Tehsildar, Bilaspur shall complete the proceedings of demarcation at the earliest, preferably within a period of six months from the date of submission of certified copy of this order.
3. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on the merits of the case.
