1. While arguing the case, Dr. N.K. Shukla, learned Senior Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner, fairly submits that departmental proceeding is pending against the petitioner since 2011 and it is coming in his way for

W.P.(S)No.3505/2013 promotional avenues and as such, a direction be issued to the respondent State to conclude the departmental proceeding expeditiously.

2. Prayer being fair and reasonable, it is directed that the respondents would do well to conclude the enquiry preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and the petitioner is also expected to cooperate in the enquiry pending against him.

3. With the aforesaid observation, the petition stands finally disposed of with liberty to the petitioner that even after due cooperation if the enquiry is not concluded, he is free to proceed in accordance with law for redressal of his grievance.
