1. The limited prayer which the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is for a direction to the respondent No. 2 to decide the appeal which the petitioner had preferred way back on 04/09/2015 and which is pending before the Office of respondent No. 2 since then.

2. Considering the limited relief that the petitioner has sought for, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the writ petition pending rather ends of justice would meet if the respondent No. 2 is directed to ensure that the appeal which the

petitioner had preferred on 04/09/2015, if till date not decided, the same be decided at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
