The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 221/2015 registered in Police Station Champa, District Janjgir-Champa (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 392/34 of Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case on 28/07/2015 at about 1.00 am in the night the present applicant along with two other accused intercepted Mukesh Kumar Kewat and on the point of knife looted Rs.5000/-. Subsequently, on investigation being made, applicant was arrested. 3.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant has been wrongly inculpated in the case and he is in jail since 28/07/2015 and charge sheet having been filed, therefore applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail and submits that as many as total 8 cases are registered against the applicant
under the different sections of the IPC.

Having regard to the facts and evidence of the case and also considering the past antecedents of the applicant that as many as 8 cases are registered against the applicant , this court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. Certified copy as per rules.
