1. Heard.

2. The petitioner contended that the application for regular stage carriage permit on the route Ambikapur to Jashpur via Bataoli, Sitapur, Paththalgaon, Kunkuri and one return trip was moved before the Regional Transport Authority on 02/07/2018 which remained undecided and still pending consideration. He further submits that the present writ petition may be disposed of with a direction to the respondent authorities to decide the application of the petitioner expeditiously as possible.

3. Learned State counsel submits that the application of the petitioner shall be decided within a stipulated time in accordance of law on its own merits as expeditiously as possible.

4. In view of the above and also considering the nature of the relief claimed the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction that the concerned Regional Transport Authority shall decide the petitioner's application pending before it for the concerned route, within a period of 30 days from the date of presentation of the certified copy of this order.

5. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the respondent authorities shall decide the matter, on its own merits, strictly in accordance with law, without treating any observation made in this order, as opinion on th merits of the case.
