The challenge in the present Writ Petition is to the show cause notice dated 27/02/2018.

Vide the said show cause notice, the respondent authorities had called for an explanation of the petitioner as to why his candidature for the diploma course which he was undertaking not be canceled on account of his not fulfilling the minimum requisite eligibility criteria which is otherwise required under the rules.

Perusal of record would show that the petitioner has till date not filed his reply to the show cause notice. He had infact sought time from the respondents to file the same.

Be that as it may, let reply be file by the petitioner within a period of 2 weeks' from today and thereafter the respondents shall take a decision on the said reply objectively considering all the contentions which the petitioner would take in his reply and if require, the petitioner shall also be granted an opportunity of hearing.

The counsel for the petitioner states that till date, the petitioner is still continuing with the course, hence no final decision be taken on the show cause notice.

Given the fact, let the final decision be taken only after complying with the observations made by this Court in preceding paragraphs. 7.
