The present contempt petition has been filed alleging willful noncompliance of the order dated 22.6.2017 whereby this Court had stayed the effect and operation of the order of transfer pertaining to the petitioner transferring from Gram Panchayat, Bhikampura to Gram Panchayat, Kanakbira under Block Sarangarh, District Raigarh. 2.

Shri Shushobhit Singh, learned Counsel appearing for the Respondents, has today produced before this Court a document dated 12.7.2017 which shows that the order of transfer pertaining to the petitioner, dated 1.6.2017, has been cancelled. 3.

Without going into the other aspects and merits of the case, this Court is of the opinion that since the order of transfer against which the original writ petition was filed itself has been cancelled, nothing further remains to be adjudicated upon in the present contempt petition and the same is disposed of.

However, in the event, if the petitioner still have some grievance pertaining to his service at Gram Panchayat, Bhikhampura, for redressal of the same he would have a liberty to avail other remedies available to him under the law.
